Upon graduating with an MD degree from the HeilongJiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 1994, Dr. Gong had practiced as a doctor of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the Changxindian Hospital in Beijing, China for over ten years until she made the move to the United States, where she obtained licensing in Acupuncture in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Dr. Gong's gentle touch and experience in both TCM and Acupuncture, make her patients feel at ease with the knowledge that they are in the very best of hands.
Dr. Gong's forte is in treating migraines, various pain conditions, chronic LYME disease and women’s health issues.
Dr. Gong also specializes in the cosmetic acupuncture. The Cosmetic Acupuncture offers an alternative to the more invasive procedures that are offered elsewhere, without the risk, discomfort, down time or excessive cost involved in such procedures. In addition, because of the holistic nature of Dr. Gong's therapies, such treatments provide benefits that exceed that which can be seen on the surface, giving a truly comprehensive result.
Dr. Gong is committed in enhancing her understanding and skills in the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, in order to serve her patients better. In December 2009, she completed “The Dispensary Guidelines and Procedures Seminar” organized by American Acupuncture Council in New York City. In January 2010, she attended a two day seminar on “Acupuncture and Fertility and Childbirth” hosted by The Swedish Institute in New York City.
